Installation

• Set the stainless steel support frame level with the finished grade.
• Place the cover into the frame,ensuring it sits flush. If the handle has a movable part,ensure it operates smoothly within the frame cavity.
• Apply the final paving material (concrete or pavers) directly over the closed cover. The handle area must be left accessible—either by creating a removable paving plug or by ensuring the handle can be accessed through a gap in the paving.
• For flip-up handles embedded in paving,ensure the joint around the handle is properly sealed with flexible grout.

Maintenance

• Maintain the paved surface as per normal landscape maintenance.
• The stainless steel cover requires no specific maintenance. Periodically check that the handle mechanism operates freely and is not obstructed by debris or hardened jointing material.
• Clean the handle and its recess with a brush if necessary. No lubrication is typically required for stainless steel components.
